Alert with out BPM

HI

I want to recieve an alert to my inbox if i have an error in the adapter.

Is it possible if my scenario is not using BPM?

(File -> XI -> RFC )

I could not find in the documentation that the adapter framework can trigger n alert.

can anyone point me?

Hi Udi,

It's the Alert configuration where you have to do the Alert related configuration. Whenever a error happens in the AE,AF or IE, the corresponding alert is triggered.

You just need to configure this.

If you want to trigger in BPM, then you can use an exception branch and raise your alert. But I don't think you need this in your case.

hi udi,

while creating your Alert rule, you can specify the exact error that you want an Alert to be triggered for.

Your alert rule can be designed specifically for, Integration Engine errrors, or Adapter Engine Errors and so on.

Also, refer to note 913858 if you are on SP14 and above.

Hi Udi,

You can activate the Alert configuration from Runtime Workbench for your Interface for errors happening in AE,AF and IE.

These are raised whenever the errors happen in your Interface.

The Alerts are stored in Alert Inbox.
