duplicating messages between XIu00B4s (SOAP)

Hi everyone

I have the following scneario R/3 1 > XI 1 (PI 7.0)> XI 2 (XI 3.0)--> R/3 2

(between XI 1 and XI 2 we are using SOAP Adapter)

We were on volume tests and we found that there are some discrepancies between the messages sent from the XI 1 to the XI 2 we have more incoming messages in XI 2 than outgoing messages in XI 1.

It seems that the discrepancies are due to duplicate messages.

Also it seems like there was a network failure between the XI servers.

Do someone know if there´s a way to avoid that?

Can some one give me some light to solve this?

Cheers

Thanks in advanced.

Hi Raul,

On reading your post the first and foremost question that comes to my mind is the logic behind R/3 1 > XI 1 (PI 7.0)> XI 2 (XI 3.0)--> R/3 2 rather than R/3 1 --> XI --> R/3 2 .

Secondly, you say there are duplicate messages coming out of XI1 , that is highly unlikely and one likely cause could be the network failure because after posting each message the adapter need a system ack but due to n/w failure its not getting the ack and so again sending the same message again.

The remedy to this situation is to change the architecture of your scenario setup and enable higher network availability.
