I'm looking for guidance on IIS settings so I can install only the default IIS components plus what is needed for BOE to operate properly. I'm using BOE XI 3.1 for .NET (no Tomcat install) on Windows Server 2003 SP2 with IIS 6.0, .NET 2.0.
With the default IIS/Component settings, I can access the CMC via WACS, but InfoView returns 404 - Page not found. I have reinstalled BO after turning on the following IIS/Component settings, and everything works fine. I'd like to know which of the following are required for BO, and which are not needed. If you have other suggestions regarding IIS components, please add them too.
1. ASP.NET (Windows component)
2. FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions (IIS sub-component)
3. Active Server Pages (WWW sub-component)
4. Internet Data Connector (WWW sub-component)
5. Server Side Includes (WWW sub-component)
Also, if you know of any BO documentation for these settings, please let me know.
Thanks,
Bill
