Hi experts Regarding xi support

1) I am working in development projects in xi, but i didn't work on support project.

please explain me.and example.

For Support the task

1. First get to know the flow of messages in XI

it is like AE -> IE ->BPE(if used)-> AE

Messages flow from sender Adapter to Integration Engine to receiver adapter

2. You need to identify the problem where it has occured

1. sender adapter

2. Integration engine(business process engine if used BPM)

3. receiver adapter

3. suppose in case of file to file scenario

check the message picked from sender adapter and then sent to Integration server

for this use RWB for detailed logs and check is that sucess or not

4. Then check at integration engine level going to SXMB_MONI and check everything is fine if not find out at what step error occured and then you can resolve it

5. Finally receiver adpater is success or not if not find the error for checking out the same

overall status of interface can be seen at RWB for sucess or failure

Hi,

refer to the links embedded in this page: http://www.mypigenie.com/administration it refers to the jobs that a support person has to perform. The basic duty of a support person is to ensure that the XI interfaces are working fine in a production environment and if not then troubleshoot the problem.
