User desicion step using WDP ABAP

I have created a ABAP WDP application to perform a user decision for a work item. I have developed the application as mentioned in the PDF file provided in the below link

I have integrated the ABAP WDP application in the UWL by modifying the necessry xml files. However i am getting the following error when I try to open the work item from the UWL.

com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: Exception in SAP Application Integrator occured: Unable to parse template

Can some please help me with this error.

this was because of the lack of WAS port and server settings in the system that is defined in SLD

Perhaps you should ask this question in the portal forum as this sounds more related to the portal template and UWL than to WDA itself.
