Extract the text data

Dear SDNs,

My client wants to extract the data from invoice text types like he wants to find out the text data in each text fields which are maintain in the invoice item level.

please advice my above scenario.I dont know where it could be stored and how i will extract them.

Hello Friend,

Go to SE37 and use the Functional Module READ_TEXT and take the help of an ABAPer to do so.

I have tested in function module i have entered text id and object type and invoice muber but system showing ZERO records.

hi

if you have maintained the text at header level

then check in table STXH

text object as VBBK

id as which you have maintained in textdetermination

Hi ,

I am maintaining at invoice item level.The text object is VBBP.

i have tested in the STXH table but no result i am uanble to get the text information what the text type having..

goto STXH

find your text object : VBBP

Text Name

Text ID (which you created at text determination 4 digit which you have added to billing as text determination)

Text Name:

note down the above

now goto SE37 and enter READ_TEXT run

enter as below

ID

LANGUAGE

NAME

OBJECT and execute then click on tables icon then you can get the text which you have maintained in ur invoice

Take the help of ABAPPER

Same issue iam also facing...when iam Executing the FM,I can fill all the Data....what is the Text Name:(Is ti Description of the Text id )
