ADAPTER IS NULL in receiver soap adapter with axis message protocol

Hi Experts,

I have configured a receiver soap adapter with axis message protocol. I am getting an error sayingorg " .apache.axis.ConfigurationException: adapter is null at com.sap.aii.axis.modules.hardcore.process " .

What could be the reason.

Any help is much appreciable.

hi

i had similar problem

try out below

1.restart engine checking config in engine for axis.

2.see if axis deployment was without errors, if it had errors, remove it n again restrt it

Hi,

there are no errors and I tried by restarting also. But its not working. I found that, one optional component "addressing.jar " is missing. can this be the reason for the error.

PLeae verify the list of modules present in the Module tab of the communication channel defined for the interface.If you are using the handler com.sap.aii.adapter.axis.ra.transport.http.CommonsHTTPSender, the commons-httpclient of Apache Commons HTTP Client must be contained in axisproviderlib.

http client is not there in the axisproviderlib.sda, we deployed it recently. Could this be the reason for the error I am getting.
