APO ramp down

Dear SAP APO Experts,

We are planning to ramp down our APO system soon. I would like to request if you can lead me to documentations regarding the activities that will be taken in closing the system.

Kindly give us some hints about the tasks and the possible risks of shutting down GATP.

Hi Glason,

During the time when you disconnect R/3 and APO systems, ensure that the suitable back-up data is done for all areas identified. The integration models are to be kept inactive. The livecache connections & database closure activities needs to be performed without affecting the data. End-users needs to be informed on the activity for co-ordination.
