SAP correction Notes

Hello,

We have ECC5.0 system, that was upgraded from R/3 46C.

There is note 500854 that contains a corrrection code, in the "support package" tab : "SAP_APPL 46C SAPKH46C32".

1)Beside checking if the code is implemented, how do I know if this note was implemented in ECC5.00 ?

2)Are all corrections for R/3 46C implemented in ECC5.0 ?

Please Advice,

Dimitry Haritonov

Hello,

That note was released on 07.08.2002, so in newer systems:

1. The correction is implemented

2. The problem did never exist in newer releases

3. This code part has been rewritten, so this code is not relevant.

You can be sure that systems released after 07.08.2002 does not contain this error.

Hello Dezso,

thanks for the info.

But globally, if notes are detailed only about 46C and lower and there is no information about ECC5.0, for example this note, does it say that the problem is corrected in ECC5.00 ?

Regards,

Dimitry

Hello,

Yes exactly, if a note is only valid for 4.6C it means that this error is not detected / corrected in newer systems like (ECC5.00).

I have to be sure in your answer.

Hello,

SAP developes new releases based on the actual release /* including all available corrections */. So known errors are no longer available in new releases.

If an error is detected in more releases >>> the note has correction insturction to all affected systems.

/* Anyway I check the given note and it is available in ECC 5.0 */

You can be sure about this
