Hi -

Is there any possibility of blocking the entered PIR quantities in MD61 transaction , as the transaction opens in change mode every time.

Is there any alternative transaction for entering the requirement quantity other than MD61.

Dear sir,

In SAP it is not possible.. The requirements ,once you are ging to create will behave as a new one only.. So if you create PIRs today for 100 Qty and save..Then if you go to create PIrs for the same material for May 2009 as 50 nos. it means that you are ging to change the qty by 150. System doesn take it as creation of 50 pirs...

if you dnt want those 100 pirs to be considered in the MRP you need to dllete it..

Or if you don want the user to change the 100 pirs ,you need to run MRP at once you create the PIRs.

hope you understand..

Hi,

Anyway you can give the authorisation for only MD63 -Display mode for the PIR to the concern person.

Hi -

The display mode should be done in MD61 for the requirements entered previously.

Each time when i enter the requirements, it should not be altered.

We input requirement plan number.

Hi -

Yes it should be greyed out.

I need to input 5-10 requirements for different materials under one plan. the user should not be able to change the previously entered requirement.

Hi,

Normally Requirement Qty should be entered in MD61 (PIR - Sales Forecast). If you want to block the users to change the requirements Qty then you can do this with authorization management.

You can also check CIR (Customer Independent Req) in MD81.

Thanks,

JK
