Data saving in the Past

Hi,

I want to save the data in the past in a key figure copying another series of data from the processing area using macro. The data is getting displayed by using the macro but with saving the data in the planning table the data getting disappeared.

Please suggest.

Hi,

I have put tick in input Button with predifined date in past in the data view. After that with Default Macro the data is getting saved in Past.

Is this macro a default macro?

When the Save button is hit, it run this macro again..is there a possibility that the macro runs again and its calculation results into a zero value..which is why it appears as tho the values have dissappeared?

I dont understand what you mean by planning table. Can you please elaborate on that ?

Also is the key figure to which you save the data an auxillary key figure ? If so the data will not get saved . Could you please check that.

Also iam not sure what your exact business requirement is. In general you can back up the data to an info cube and it can be used for reporting also.
