Error during reusing an article after discontinue

Hi ,

We discontinued an article at client level and then the business decided to reuse the article now, so we had to activate it using transaction WSE8. Now the problem is that when we tried to create a contract or a purchase order, we get an error message saying ME326 The article XXXXX liquidated on a date(the date on which it was discontinued), do I have to do anything else, am I missing something?

Hi,

(a) Check listing from and to for a Site and MC

(b) Check X-Plant / Site Article Status

(c) Check SAP Note 90785

Thanks, the note was helpful

I had to change the LIQDT date in Mara to 12/31/9999, then everything was fine.
