User's list from Portal

Hi

We are on EP7 SP14 and we need list of all the Portal users from LDAP.

Is there any way to export the users or get the user details from Portal?

We want this information from Portal itself and not through any Dynpro program.

Please suggest.

I assume your UME source is LDAP? Then start the /useradmin tool and use the Export option. It willl only show the first 1000 users.

If your UME source in't LDAP, then the portal can't help you!

Yes the UME source is LDAP.

We have tried User administration tool but due to this limitation of 1000 users is result, we can not download all the users.

Is there any way to apply some filter and get list of all the users from LDAP source?

You can increase the number of users per search by changing a UME property, but you could also try searching for A* users and then B* users etc...

Why not use the LDAP tool to get the details?

Searching with A, B etc is helpful but when had tried even result A* had crossed the limit of 1000 users.

Also when we try to export few users (10-15), its fine but when try to export entire result of A*, we get an error saying "An error occured while exporting principals"

We noticed, we got this error while exporting more than 30 users and created export list doesnot contain all search results.

Please suggest.

I still think you should use the underlying LDAP admin tools, not the portal...

Try logging a support call about the error message..
