Absolute URL's in Netweaver Portal 2004s

We use NetWeaver J2EE Portal 2004s and we have a problem.

In our webdynpro application all the automatically generated links are absolute instead of relative.

This cause major network issues:

We are using F5 network device to encrypt the communication to the client.

So from the client point of view he is working in HTTPS.

The communication from the F5 to the portal is in HTTP. Because of the absolute urlu2019s the client is trying to access the site in unencrypted HTTP. And this cause roundtrips while the F5 is redirecting the client to HTTPS.

When the client is sending a POST request - the target page doesnu2019t receive the posted information.

Is there a way to get rid of all the absolute http urls - and convert them to relative url's ??

You replies are appreciated.
