WG23 - Unable to Delete MC

Hi,

I am using T.code WG23 to delete the Merchandise category from system.

I have already deleted the MC from the assortments list using Tx: WSOA2.

Which can be checked through table WRS6.

But the system still gives an error message saying MG/Sites assignment

exists, deletion not possible.

I understand that The MC is present in sites/customers. and that assignment needs to be removed, and only then I will be able to delete MC using WG23.

When we add MC in assortments, The MC automatically gets added in the sites available in the assortment.

Q1: Then, When I remove the MC from the assortment, why the system is not

removing them from the respective sites??

Q2: Is there any other possibility that MC gets added in a site (other

than by adding them in assortment or in site directly)??

and how to remove the MC from the sites??

Q3: Is there any Function Module or BAPI available for MC deletion from sites??

Hi,

I can only answer 2 of your questions.

Q2: I don't know any other possibility to assign a MC to a site then the two you described.

Q3: Please check transaction WB30. This should fit your requirements.
