Hello

As per Costing you cannot post revenue to cost center , hence there in KS01/02 there is option to lock revenue posting to Cost center.

you can untick it and post it.

Thanks

Hello,

Before removing the removing the check boxes on the cost center master KS02 for revenue postings on a cost center, you should understand that the cost centers are not intended for revenue postings. These settings are being inherited from cost center categories in your configuration. (Refer OKA2)

Cost centers are for primary and secondary costs, but not for revenues.

Profit centers are for revenue as well as costs.

Please let me know the context in which you are intended to post the revenues on a cost center.

Ravi

Hi,

You normally post Revenues to Profit centers ... but costs to CO objects. Profit centers are not CO object. So you will not normally post costs to Profit centers... but to Cost centers, Internal orders etc. These Cost centers / Internal orders are linked to Profit centers .. so statistical posts go to the Profit centers through assignment in the Profit center accounting.

Hope the issue is clarified.

Enjoy...

Hi,

Change the Cost Centre(which you are using in KB41N) master data using t code KS02.

Click Control tab and deactivate Actual Revenues check box .

Assign marks if found useful

Hope this helps...
