how to re-explde the BOM in Sales order

Dear Friends,

In sales orer there is any provision to Re-explode the BOM in sales order.we have make some changes in BOM.Now we want to re-explode the BOM in Sales order so that BOM Components can be available in sales order.

There is any field available in sales order for that?

hello, friend.

when you make changes to a BOM, this does not automatically affect sales orders already created. however, you can do VA05 (List of Sales Orders) to make mass changes.

execute VA05 and select the sales orders relevant. then go to Edit > Mass change > New material. the current material number will appear and the system will ask you for the new material number. if the changed BOM has the same number, just enter it in the second field.

After creating BOM through CS01, any change you need to create Alternative as 2 and rexecute the BOM.

Explode BOM level by Level CS11

Create an Order BOM CS61

Create a new order and goahead with BOM material and execute it.

Dear Nitin,

go to VOV4 do this confioguration for item catagory determination.

ZB01 ERLA TAQ

ZB01 ERLA TAP TAE

ZB01 ERLA TAQ TAE

ZB01 NORM TAE

ZB01 NORM TAN TAE

ZB01 NORM TAP TAE

ZB01 NORM TAQ TAE

here ZB01 is the order type

now you can see we used three item catagory TAP , TAQ and TAE

TAQ is the first level TAP is the second level and the final level is TAE.

now for multy level explosion go to your item catagory

and go to bills of material tab in the field "structure scope" select "B-Explode multi-level bill of material"

then do a transaction and check
