Hi,

When i will post the entry in J2IUN ( Monthly Utlization) one error will come ( Error in FI posting).Fi posting error due to fiscal period error 1

Message no. 8I216

Diagnosis

Attempt to post the document in a period outside the current Fiscal

period setup.

Procedure

Change the posting date or Change the fiscal period prior to posting

the transaction under consideration.

How can i solve it.

Hi,

Tell me how you resolved this issue . Same error i am getting when we are going to utilise in J2IUN from 05.03.2009 to 31.03.2009 in current period.

How i over come this issue

check the document date and posting date of the document also check the MMRV.

Pls check if the posting periods for FI are open in T Code OB52 for your company code.
