Import SCA from local development into proper SLD-SC

Former Member

Hello,

we have developed a quite large application in NWDS using the local SC demo.sap.com.

Do you know how to import this whole CAF-Application (Application Services, Business Objects, etc) into a newly created, "proper" SC (e.g. cafapp1.company.tld) into the NWDI/DTR?

thanks a lot!

Kai

Copy the source folder of your local Component to the NWDI - SC- DC

Hey Saurabh,

thanks a lot! Do you know if there is any specific guide regarding CAF (Application Services, Business Objects, etc.) instead of WebDynpro?

Anil, Im not sure if you posted the right document. It's contents are installing of NWDI under NW04, there is not even an import-sequence described...

Thanks!

Still open, can somebody give me a hint specifically regarding CAF, not WebDynpro?

Is there some general approach?

Thanks, Kai

Hi,

Firstly create a SC with the same name in the SLD. Then create a track in the NWDI, while defining the track enter the build dependency components required for CAF developments, import the track into your DS, then paste all your developments in the

newly imported track then check-out and activate the changes.

Vamshi.

How do you "paste all your developments" exactly?
