Issue With R/3 Extractor 2LIS_13_VDITM and 2LIS_11_VAITM during Delta Updat

Hi all,

We are using 2LIS_13_VDITM and 2LIS_11_VAITM Datasources to upload sales overview cube directly as well as a custome ODS seperately using Direct Delta method.

Now first time upload was perfect(Initialization) but if any changes are made to the existing data or if any new entries are entered in the source system, R/3 extractor (2LIS_13_VDITM and 2LIS_11_VAITM) is not pulling those records.

Once we tried deleting SETUP table and reloaded it, extractor was able to pull the records but again the issue crops up for any new entries or changes made in source system.

This is stopping us from completing the project. So any suggestions the would help us solving the issue is most welcome.

Please check if you have any entries for application 11 and 13 in LBWQ Transaction. Since you already done initialization do delta initialization with out data transfer from BW side and check you have datasource in RSA7. It should be there in RSA7 then do delta after doing some changes in R/3 side it picks up Data.

There are no entries for 11 and 13 in LBWQ.But datasource is available in rsa7.so how should proceed from here?

in OLTP system did you schedule the LIS 11 / 13 jobs periodically ?

Yes. The 11 and 13 datasources are scheduled in OLTP system in the TCode - LBWE.

Hi,

If you have selected the 'Queue delta' Update method for applications 11 and 13,then make sure that the "update" job is scheduled to move the data from LBWQ to RSA7. Once the data available in RSA7, you can execute the infopackage with delta load.

If you have selected the 'Direct delta' Update method for applications 11 and 13,then there is no need of "update" job to move the data from LBWQ to RSA7. Once the data available in RSA7, you can execute the infopackage with delta load.

Hi Anil,

I have selected "Queue Delta" and scheduled the job for Immediate load. But still in RSA7, against 2LIS_13_VDITM the total shows 0. Does that mean data is not moved from LBWE to RSA7? If that is the case what should be done next?

Dear Surendhar

Just check in LBWE if the job control is activated. sometime it happens that you give time and date to run the job control and forget to schedule the job...Its mandatory to give the print parameters and schedule the job. JUst check if job setting and print parameter are in Green status..

And also check if any entries are there in tables VBAP,VBAK, VBRP for the particular date...If there is no data in RSA7 it means job control is not active.

Dear Rakesh,

As per your guide we did the procedure of delta update.In LBWE if i selected job schedule,then Start date and Print Parameters in green color.once i came back out of LBWE and then again going to LBWE, start date only in red color(We give immediate schedule ).

Hi,

You did everyhting what should be done. Finally go to SE38 and excute the R/3 jobs manually and see wether any records are avialalbe in RSA7.

go to SE38 and execute program RMBWV311 for Appl. area 11 and RMBWV313 for Appl. area 13. Then go to RSA7 and check any records are avialble in the Queue for 11 & 13. If records are availbe then pull the records to BW via Info package.
