Hello every one. In my project v r having customer project. this project involves only cost per hour which v need to pay to our consultants and v r getting revenues thru sales orders or contracts. now the confusion is that RA key is necessary for me or not. in my project i m having project definition than one top level wbs which is billable (billing element is ticked). than i m having 5 wbs under top level wbs (different phases of the projects). now each wbs is having one network and activities. i dont have product casting nor pp in my project .now i need to know RA key is mandatory for me or not and if its mandatory than the cost elements which i will use for RA will be primary or secondary. Any suggestion is of gr8 help for me

for your project scenario Result Analysis is necessary. you can use the primary cost element.

RA is a functionality which calculates your WIP, accruals deferrals required for costs/ revenues.

Whether the functionlity is required depends on your business needs, regulation in the country o implementation etc
