sales order with reference to a quotation

Hi

When we are creating a sales order with reference to a quotation, the sales order must contain the shipping condition from the quotation, not from the soldto.How we can configure with copy controls.

I have a similar requirement - want the shipping conditions to be copied from the Quotation and do not want them to be reset from the customer master.

Hi,

Normally system pick up Shipping Condition Sales Document... if nothing is maintained here this will be taken from customer master.

There will not be any standard customzing to copy from Quotation. But you can try this using changing the Data Transfer Routine (Data T) in Copy Control VTAA which is assigned to Document Header. Sit with your ABAPer and Try.

Since it is a quotation and later it converts into order then at that particular time the shipping conditons to be considered as per the business.

Hi Mr. Rao,

See system take shipping condition from sales document first then customer master. it never copy shipping condition from sales document to document.

But you can achieve the requirement through configuration in VOV8, Use T-Code VOV8 double click the quotation document and mainatin the Shipping condition same as u want to be in sales order then maintain same shipping condition in sales order configuration screen (by double clicking)

Hi there,

You will not be able to copy the shipping conditions from the quotation. So maintain the required shipping conditions for the sales order in VOV8.

Shipping conditions will either default from the sales doc type or from sold-to party. If you maintain shipping conditions both for sales doc in VOV8 & in sold-to party, shipping conditions in sales doc type will be given preference.
