Organization field Greyed out in oppurtunities

Hi,

In the Oppurtunity tiles set the Sales ORG field is Greyed out.

In the OPPOVIEW6 tile set I tried to change the Mode of the Sales ORg to Normal and geenrated the tile.

BUt even then in the MSA it is Greyed out.

what do i need to do so that i can enter the Sales ORG in Oppurtunities.

I think, if your user (logged on user) has more than one sales area attached to it, sales org field should automatically become editable once you select transaction type on opportunity tile. Atleast that is happening in MSA 3.0.

May be your user has only one sales area configured.

Thanks for the reply.

How can we assign more than one Sales Area to the user.

Do we need to asssign the employee assigned to the mobile client to position in PPOMA_CRM transaction.

After assigning the position do we need to download any cusotmizing objetcs to CDB to get them transferred.

Well....

Fortunately, I have lots of test data on my system with lots of employees with multiple sales area data.

Logically you seem right, but I am not sure.

Hi,

for the employeed which are created when we went live the organization field is filled in the the Oppurtunity transaction.

but for the newly created employess the org field is greyed out.

the new guys are assigned positons in the ppoma_crm transaction.

So do I need to download all the cusotmizing objects regardign the Sales ORG again.

Is there a way that we can have a delta download setup so that any changes in the ORG structure gets downloaded to the Mobile Automatically.

Zack,

Unfortunately, after any change you make in org structure, delta download needs to be manually triggered. May be you can schedule a batch job at regular interval for that.

Hi Kaushal,

I went to IMG->CRM->Master data->Org. management->Data Transfer: Copy Org. Structure to CRM Mobile

Delta - Changes Only: X

started the transaction

Then I ran the Program HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE to update the buffer

Then I download the object CRM_DNL_ORGMAN

I made sure the sites are subscribed to the CUSTOMIZING ORGMAN Publication.

even then the new sales employee are not not filling up by the sales area data

Did I miss nay steps

Hi ,

I followed the same steps by runnign the buffer and activiating the delta download.

But for the new employees all the distribution channels and divisons got transferred.

But the Sales org is not getting transferred.

Hence the sales org field in oppurtunities tile set does not get loaded but the distribution channel gets loaded.

Is there any steps i am missing in the ppoma_crm in online crm or anything misisng in the Mobile Sales
