Hi,

After connector is established successfully,

1.RAR -configuration-upload objects - first u need to upload texts and authorizations data into grc. Then

2.configuration- background job-schedulejobs, you have to run full user synch job for the first time to get all users information into grc.similarly for roles and profiles u need to run jobs to get all the data into grc.

fallow the notes 1179717,1034117 and also the configuration guide steps to do this.

after completion of user/role/profile Synch , U can see all users, roles, profiles in Informer-security reports.

check with the number of users/roles/profiles are matching with backend ECC numbers.

Thanks,

Joseph.

Dear Ambarish,

For user and role changes in backend systems, you have to schedule background jobs (incremetal) for User sync and Roel sync on GRC server.it will update User and Role data to GRC system. In the same way you have to schedule incremental jobs for batch risk analysis for both - User and Role/Profile.

USer/Role sync will only update user and role name and discription data, and batch risk analysis will update permission/authorization changes.

SAP note - 1034117 will help you regarding Background Jobs.

Hi,

To reflect changes of ECC in GRC , You need to run this background job periodically , increamental synch, then users/roles/profiles whichever is changed will be updated in Frontend GRC.

read the notes its mentioned clearly.

Thanks,

Joseph.

IF the changes of the ECC don get reflected into RAR until jobs are run then whats the point of having RTA's and calling them as real time agents when it is not real time synchronisation.
