Java Mapping

Hello everybody,

I´m new in Java Mapping, and until I know, to start i need add the aii_map_api.jar as a library. The problem is I don't know where is located the jar file. I have Windows Vista, time before i did the instructions that i found in other forums, they put the next path to get the jar file, but i think it only works with XP, because the file system in Vista is different, i.e. the path doesn't work.

"Use the below procedure to get the aii_map_api.jar file,

If your machine is running on windows operating system,(remember your machine means from where you work on Repository and Directory Frameworks)

Then look in this folder,

+>:Documents and Settings

Application DataSunJavaDeploymentjavawscachehttpDPDMrepDMrepository"+

Well, do you have any idea, where i can find this jar? or maybe is something in the options when i installed the SAP Developer Studio?

I would be grateful for your help

Thanks,

Vicman

Documents and Settingd folder is hidden by default. You need to get in to folder option and uncheck hide protected operating system files and un check hide folders.

note that the mapping api is not available if you install NWDS but you will have to get the jar from the XI server itself. My understanding is that your NWDS is installed on a vista machine not your XI server.

Anyway to get the jar from the xi server, ref the notes section of - https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/xi/wholePayloadtoaXML+field

FYI~~~

you can base your study on various articles/sample codes in the wiki section -

Well, as a i said, the problem is not cause the folder is hide, is because Vista doesn't have this folder, only XP, the option that you said is activated.
