Repair Full Request

Hi,

In a scenario, ODS1-->ODS2 update happens. What I also want to achieve is bring a whole lot of data selectively (selected on ODS1 fields) repeatedly from ODS1 to ODS2 (to overwrite certain derived values, as these keep changing).

So, regular process : Delta of ODS1>ODS2 (OK already)

Additional required process : ODS1(Full, selected on year-say,)-->ODS2

If I create a 'Repair full request' Infopackage for this requirement, would it bring data from changelog table or from main ODS1 table (my intent is to bring data from active ODS1 table)?

Since the target is also ODS, it is not a problem if records are being added multiple times to the target.

Hi Ajay,

As you mention you are alreadu doing delta loads...in this case if you do a Full load (not as repair request) then you will not be able to activate the ODS2 data, so I would say that Repair full request is the way to go.

What I wanted was a confirmation that the repair full request will indeed fetch from the active table (and not from the change log).
