Creating View, Layout not displayed. ECC on VM

All,

This is a common problem but I couldnt find solution through all approaches suggested in this forum.

I created my component and trying to create a view for it. My layout tab says page cannot be displayed.

My ECC is on VM image and I have this machine name in hosts file.

I am getting the same problem even if I open SAP UI on ECC machine itself. So I think its not a problem in resolving hosts.

I even checked all ICM services as specified in this link

And all of them are activated.

Still I am getting the same problem.

Can anyone give some clue about it?

hi Nagarjuna Chirala ,

Goto sicf transaction

1.press F8

2.Defalt host ->sap->Bc->wdvd

Activate that wdvd.

if problem remain.

In ur PC

Start->run-> ipconfig /registerdns. Give ok
