If I try to use TEXT or VARCHAR(255) columns in my tables which I import in BO Designer, I cannot drag & drop them in the left pane which is not the case with the numerical columns. Do you know a way to use those column correctly in the designer ?
Instead you can create a object in the left and side, from the object properties, expand the select clause and select the table and column, select the Type as character, select OK. Parse, OK.
In fact as soon as the structure is refreshed, the VARCHAR are ok to be drag & dropped but not the TEXT ones which I need to explicitly create with create object. Why is there such a difference ? Is it the same behaviour in BOXIR3 ?
