Dears:
My SAP system is CRM. And we also use the EP function. But in sm04, i find there are 3 types of connection, one is gui, another is RFC,last one is http plugin.
For RFC type, i know it is the remote function call type. But how is the type http plugin,which is also the type of RFC?
In this case as you meantion you use EP... the http session will be calls from the portal, most likely iviews quering the system

http plugins are the calls made when an internet request comes in(http web queries)
say if you have implemented BEX and when the users run web queries created by BEX,then this is displayed in SM04
