Assigning Attributes

I am in the process of assigning attributes to our individual products. Is there a faster way to perform this task other than doing each item one at a time? The interface is slow to load and I have hundreds to assign.

Any type of bulk attribute assignment for like items?

I have often imported data directing into the tables with SQL scripts. The attribute table is PartsAttribute .. after adding a few manually you can easily see what data needs to go into each column.
