Hi all,

In TC -wty i am trying to create warranty claim . it gives following error-

Authorization missing; contact your system administrator

Message no. WTY309

Diagnosis

You want to process a warranty claim but you do not have the required authorization.

Procedure

The system contains the following three authorization objects for processing warranty claims:

C_WTY_ACT Warranty Claim Processing: Actions

C_WTY_STAT Warranty Claim Processing: Status

C_WTY_OBJ Warranty Claim Processing: Edit/Process Object

The settings in your user master record do not include the authorization for at least one of the above. Please contact your system administrator and request to receive the authorization to execute the user action you require.

Note: the authorization concept for warranty processing contains the three authorization objects C_WTY_OBJ, C_WTY_STAT and C_WTY_ACT.

Furthermore, the authorizations for the authorization objects for Integrated Product and Process Engineering (iPPE) should be maintained since the technical structure of the warranty claim (transaction WTY) is based on the technical structure of iPPE. The following authorization objects are of relevance:

C_PVS_PAID

C_PVS_PATY

C_PVS_PNID

C_PVS_PNTY

C_PVS_PVID

C_PVS_PVTY

The user should receive the authorization for all of these authorization objects.

After running this transaction run t-code SU53 and take screen shot and co-ordinate with BASIS guy in your team, he will allow you this authorization.
