Hi.
We have scheduled a system upgrade of the Solution Manager machine, causing a downtime of two complete days. In these two days it must still be possible to develop and transport customizing/workbench content in the satellite system landscapes which are connected to the Solution Manager Charm.
What are the necessary steps to allow the traditional transport scenario without Charm control?
Where can I setup that users may create transports without the need of entering a project?
Any hints to consider?

The project status switches in Solution Manager control which operation is possible in component system.
and
SE03 -> Display/Change Request Attributes (SAP_CTS_PROJECT) controls if project assignment is mandatory for that system/client.
