While making the Sub-Contracting PO

We are getting the following error

Not possible to determine any components

Message no. ME154

Where BOM is maintained for the material and "item Cat" L

Change the Delivery date in the PO to 4 to 5 days ahed.... it will work...

Hi Niti

If you are saying that BOM has been maintained already using CS01 then check the dates for which it is valid. If you have maintained the BOM today itself then try to put the date as todays date - 1 day.

Hi,

Go to CS01 and maintainthe Bom for that material.Give the material which you were reciving from vendor,plant and useage.Inside give the Component which you are sending to vendor in component field with item category L and quantiry with UOM.then create a Subcontracting PO,system will copy component from BOM.

You can enter directly in ME21n also

In BOM , in admin data, check the validity period.

First check it in CS02. The BOM maintained correctly or not.

If u r not created any BOM in CS01 then create it. or otherwise in PO material Tab maintain Componenets.

Go Material tab in ME21N and click on compoents and maintain the material required to produce the sc part.
