Hi,

You can sell the articles via POS in DC as like Stores.

To achieve this maintain Inbound and Outbound profile for DC in WB01 Tcode for POS tab and make necessary configurations.

Thanks Selvakumar. M

Is there any potential problem (or any implication) needed to consider in using POS at DC?

think about DC assorment (i think it should not be restricted, just all articles).

you can ogranize such process in several ways

0. ERP RETAIL + any POS system

Just do sale via POS, then upload it to ERP directly or via POS DM.

1. using ERP RETAIL + SAP POS or another POS system with availabilty to make RFC calls + POS DM

Call from POS(till) function customer order creation (ERP), retreive sales order data from ERP to POS, receive payment via POS, upload payment data to ERP via ERP-POS interface or via POS DM.

see Customer order management functionality in ERP2005 - Ehp3 details.

2. ERP RETAIL + another POS system with availabilty to receive RFC calls

Create SD order in ERP, remotly create soft receipt in POS, get payment, finalize receipt, upload payment data to ERP RETAIL: manually, via ERP-POS interface or via POS DM.

Yes. In this case you are defining DC as store and the selling updation can be done from POS via RFC in idocs.
