Changes required after adding the sap server in domain (Visual Admin )

Hi All,

Yesterday we added our SAP Server (ABAP+JAVA) in our organization domain, Pls let me know what entries do I need to make in Visual Administrator and Configtool????

hello is your SAP(I mean both ABAP+JAVA,are you able to connect to Visual Admin without any issues),if yes then the only thing that I think you need to maintain is the JCO RFC connections in Visual Admin

Hi All,

Thanks for your quick response, I have checked the JCO connection Provider tab in Visual Admin and found that entry for server is just Hostname:SAPWINHOME.Do I need to change as SAPWINHOME.<Org-Name>.com(FQDN) or SAPWINHOME is fine.

Hello Prashant,

If your SAP is working properly,you dont need to change anything,neither this hostname in JCO

check from your browser if you are able to access the JAVA portal home page,if yes then everything is ok I guess

Prashant,

Your request is not clear. What do you mean by added to the domain?

But if you have connected exisiting sap system on the network (ABAP+JAVA) then visual administrator should work as it is. Please check your network connections are ok.
