OVS translation

Hi,

I use OVS valuehelp in my WD application.

How can I translate 'Advanced Search', 'Go' and 'Exit' button texts to Hebrew?

Hi Ola,

I guess this is not possible in WD. The OVS UI is generated automaticlly by the framework and as far as I know the language conversion for these text is not handled by framework.

Thanks for reply.

For current application I can use EVS but the problem is that filter of EVS doesn't support wildcards.

Did u know how can I implement custom filter for EVS?

Hi,

Again, EVS is created using the IModifiableSimpleValueSet which does not allow you to handle any other feature than just a simple search of the fields in the table.

There is a very basic search functioanlity which is available with the EVS which I guess can filter only if the values in the table matches with the search criteria.

You can do one thing. You can create a melting group, with a input field and a search icon as button which is a simple image.

On the click of that button you can open a table in a pop-up. Filtering with all wild characters can be handled easily with the table UI. If you require to see the filtering with wild characters in table then follow this blog.
