Services not testing in SICF

Hi All

i have installed Netwever BI 7.0.All the post installtion steps are also completed.The problem is that i whenever a test any service in SICF,it fails.Bex broadcaster is also not working.I think it is related to service issue.Kindly suggest.

what is the error that you are getting while testing the services

Hi

I have activated the services,it is when i test the service that error is thrown.A browser window opens with common page could not be displayed error.

what is the url that opens in the browser window,if it points to the hostnae of the server,just add the hostname in the hosts file of your pc and then test

Hi

I think no service which runs on 80xx(in my case 8055) is working.Also RFC is working ok and i am able to view reports using BEx web analyzer.Can you tell me where should i debug this?

have you checked 8055 is running or not in SMICM and also the parameter for serverport for port 80$$ is set or not...
