Benefits enrollment:Calculated processing end date is before the start date

I am facing an error in enrollment in SAP HR Benefits module. The config is as below

--Medical plan is to be made mandatory. For this, I have configured the plan as "automatic" plan

--Maintained IT 171 for the employee.

--The automatic plan option appears in enrollment. But when I am trying to view the automatic plan for an employee, I am getting the error as "Calculated prcoessing end date is before the start date".

--This error is coming for all the employees

--The F1 for the error message states: HRBEN00FMODULES218

Kindly advice or provide a solution

All the config is done as per requirement.

Can you let me the process of making a plan mandatory and how to test it? In case, I have missed any step

Take a look at the Adjustment Reason. HRBEN0041 - if you are using SAP delivered the default date is set wrong at 12/31/1999. Change it to 12/31/9999 or click the end of time checkbox.

That should solve your issue.

Thank you for pointing this out - I must have looked at this 10 times and never noticed the 1 instead of 9 in that config spot.

The plan is configured as 01011800 to 12319999
