PPM Not gettig activated

HI,

I am trying to set up a PPM .

I have Maintained operation,mode,component etc inspite i am getting this message..

when i do a plan check i get the belwo 2 messages

1.No linked PP/DS plan exists for SNP plan XXXXXX( Material) - warning message

2.Message no. /SAPAPO/PPM_MAINTAIN560-error message

kindly let me know if you require furhter info to solve this.

Hi Kumar,

The 1st warning msg is ok, when you are creating PPM manually. Now you please check you have maintained 'variable bucket consumption' or not in the 'mode' cpmbination.

Please ensure that you have done 'product plan assignment'.

I miss 'product plan assignment' and made it now.

Hi Sateesh,

Please confirm whether you are trying to create PPM through system or manually? Also confirm whether the PPM you are trying is PPDS PPM or SNP PPM?

If you are creating a SNP PPM manually without a PPDS PPM in system, this error pops up.

If this is the case, try first creating PPDS PPM in system and subsequently create SNP PPMs.
