Config Tool

Hello!

I am using Testdrive SR1 WAS on Linux.

When I want to run the Config Tool in /usr/sap/... i get the following error:

Error occurred while working with Configuration (Scanning)

Msg: Error while connecting to DB

Error occurred while loading the Secure Stor.

Msg: File "/sapmnt/NW4/global/security/data/SecStore.properties" does not exist although it should.

(but it exists i have searched for it)

My config parameters are the following:

Secure Store File:

/sapmnt/NW4/global/security/data/SecStore.properties

Secure Store Key File:

/sapmnt/NW4/global/security/data/SecStore.key

System Name:

NW4

Secure Store lib:

/sapmnt/NW4/global/security/lib/

RDBMS connection:

jdbc/pool/NW4

RDBMS driver location:

/sapdb/programs/runtime/jar/sapdbc.jar

Initial Connections: 1

Max Connections: 5

What can Id do?

start the db manually and start the installation

Hi,

Is the database up and running? Please check the

permissions for the file SecStore.properties for the user

you are using. Also check the file

../usr/sap/../j2ee/cluster/bootstrap/bootstrap.properties

and compare the values.

You may also try checking the "overwrite rdbms settings"

option while connecting and leave the secure store empty.

Hi,

Is the environmental variables set properly?

Check the following:

Set JAVA_HOME to the java directory in the user variables.

Set Path to the Java Bin directory in the system variables.
