hi

How to send popup message to all users & to selected users -saying server will be done at 5 pm

i've seen basis team sending such messages.

Pl suggest how this can be odne

Hi

As said earlier if you want the message to be displayed to all the users who login to system its SM02

If you want to send the instance message to user who is already logged into the system use

Tcode SE37Select Functional Module TH_POPUP>click on test/Execute tab

In the next screen provide the information like client..User..What is the message you want to send and then execute

The next second user can see this message on SAP screen

Uday : as a practice i think we need to use SM02 only to send message to all users as this is going to be logged. Function module can be used to send message to perticular user also Function module we cannot schedule it for later hrs

With Functional Module you can send message to single one user at a time.

Hi

you can do through SM02 T-code

just go on SM02 -click on create and write the message

and then press on ok

it will be displayed when you log in again
