Wrong pricing produdure picked

HI

I am creating sales order with reference to quotaion , but then wrong pricing procedure is being copied. I have checked the pricing procedure determination, everytihng is fine.

In quotation I have trading and manufacturing material with diff plants.could this be the reason

please guide.

Hi Ranga

Check in OVKK the combination you have maintained , that is sales area + Cupp + Dupp

so check the assignment you have done in OVKK

sales area + Cupp + Dupp = pricing procedure 1

sales area + -

---

+ Dupp = pricing procedure 2

You might have created a Quotation with the customer where Cupp is not assigned so system might have picked pricing procedure 2 when you have created Quotation . When you have created sales order then you might have assigned Cupp in CMR and that is the reason system might have picked pricing procedure 1 in the sales order

Same pricing procedure get copied in to Sales Order if you create wrt. if yu required a separate pricing procedure then copy details from quotation after entering customer in SO

Hi Ravi,

Look for the following things for solving your issue.

1.Check the Pricing Procedure completely in terms of Sales Area, Cutomer Master Pricing, Document Type Pricing.

2. Check the copying control from Quotation to Sales order.

Ravi,

1. Check whether you have pricing procedure maintined for Quotation and Order seperately

2. Check copy controlsin Tcode VTAA QT ==> OR

3. Check whether you have activated complete reference, then deactivate it (if not so)

4. Choose item category and click details button change pricing type from A to B

Hi there,

Check what doc pricing procedure is assigned to QT & OR in VOV8. Usually we will assign different doc pric procedure for different docs.

Since pricing procedure depends on Sales area / doc pricing procedure / customer procing procedure, if the sales doc changes, there is a chance that pricing proceduremay change.

Also check in VTAA copy controls from QT to OR what pricing type is assigned at item level. Usually setting A will be assigned which will copy price components. Select B if you want to carry new pricing.

Hi ,

Check Dupp of sales document types Quotation (QT) and standard order (OR) .Also check the Cupp maintained in CMR.

In OVKK check the combination maintained and check what pricing procedure has been assigned

Say for example :

Sales area + Cupp1 + Dupp1 = Pricing procedure 1 ( For Quotation)

Sales area + Cupp2 + Dupp1 = Pricing procedure 2 ( For standard order)

The above example tells that when you create the sales order wrf to quotation then the Pricing procedure 2 will get copied but when you have created quotation Pricing procedure 1 will come
