My doubt is

1) what is difernce between Support message(SLFN) and service message (SLF1)

2) i want to make a single message type as SLF1.. ??

Hi,

To find out whether you have SLFN or SLF1 configured, you need to check this in your solman -> dno_cust01 -> SLF1 -> double click look out at the last line

Action Profile SLFN0001_STANDARD_DNO => means SLFN being configured

if it is SMSD_ABA_MLDG_SERVICEVORGANG => then SLF1 is being used.

Either that please also check in corresponding dno_cust04 to see the entry PROCESS_TYPE has the correct value entered as per note

Dear sh,

I have configured SLFN.

As follow, In tcode dno_cust01 - SLF1 - Action profile - > SLFN0001_STANDARD_DNO

In tcode dno_cust04 -> PROCESS_TYPE -> SLFN

please suggest me if more...

Can anyone explain to me the logic of having SLFN vs. SLF1 messages and under which circumstances would you choose one over the other?

If anyone has any documentation that they could share, I would appreciate it!
