Reimport RFC

Good Day All,

We rename a filed in an RFC in r/3 and when I tried to reimport the RFC in webDynpro I got the following message:

"Adaptive RFC Reimport could lead to inconsistence of R/3 metadata cashed on the J2EE server.

Thus it is recommanded to invalidate the cache, this could be done either by restarting the J2EE server or by using Adaptive RFC Metadata Cache Invalidation Tool within Webdynpro Console".

I would like to know how to use Adaptive RFC Metadata Cache Invalidation Tool within Webdynpro Console?

thanks,

go through the link with the step by step process .

else re-start the server .

Hi Rami,

These warning message throws whenever you done any changes in the backend RFC and try to reimport the function module.because the j2ee engine not able to replicate the latest changes of code.So for that always recommended that to restart the j2ee engine after reimporting the RFC.

it will resolve about the latest code

Thanks
