Barcode along with text

Hi all,

i have a requirement where in i have to print barcode along with the variable value printed beneath barcode in smartform.

Suppose if i m printing PO order number as barcode,i want po order number just under the barcode..

i tried to put a separate text for dat beneath barcode...but its not coming along with barcode and its standing apart..

i had created barcode using new technology code128

Hi TT,

This problem is because of your paragraph format. By default the line spacing for every paragraph format is set to 1 line (1 LN). Just try changing the line spacing in your paragraph format and use it.

Hi all,

the problem is solved..wat i had to do was to create 2 windows one for barcode and one for text and overlapped the windows to get the correct position..nyways thanks evryone...

Hi TT,

Try writing your barcode and the text in the same text node. If u want to dispaly the barcode and text of PO and have say B1 as the character format for barcode then write the code as below in the same text node.

<B1>&PO&</>

&PO&

i did the same..but one line gap is coming in between barcode and the value

Hi,

create a new text and fetch po data in dat.

then in ur style

create two paragraph format.

suppose

aa --- in this adjust sapcing like space before, or line spacing, space after

bb--in this adjust sapcing like space before, or line spacing, space after

u will get solution.

do adjustment and apply that paragraph formats. one to barcode and one to text

Create the text node under the bar code for the PO order number .
