Where to keep the jar files

I have some common classes that I want use across the SWCV/namespaces/Mappings. What is the best place to import.

1. In Imported archives of each name space for each swcv

2. Create a shared name space in each SWCV and place in this swcv under imported archives.

3. Create a separate SWCV/name space place it under this and create a dependency in the SLD.

Please advice.

Hi,

Even i faced same prob before six months,then i decided to created one Global Name space to keep all Java Maps(Jar Files),XSLT Maps.I placed all reusable maps.

its really good idea.

Can you brief me how u have created global namespace if u have used PI 7.0 version?

In which version u have used the above functionality.??

Do you mean One common name space per SWCV? (OR)

One common SWCV in total repository and in that one global namespace? Please advise

What is the PI version u r using ??

As for PI 7.0 u have to import under each namespaces.

We are having a issue by doing this. Duplicate Class error, while class loader calling findClass() method.

Any Ideas please

I think you copied same jar file in other name space under same S/W Component,delete and create one name sapce to place all jar file,give name like it global name space.ClinetName_XI_Global_Region

Hi Raja,

Imported Object RFC / IDOC would be common to all namespaces of a particular SWCV.

However each namespace wud have "imported Archives" which independent of the namespace

hope that cannnot be shared commonly across the namesapces
