I have configured CCMS to alert if a RFC Destination defined in SM59 becomes unavailable. The alerts are generated as expected. I have set the AutoReaction method to use CCMS_OnAlert_Email. When the alert is generated I can see the following entries in the CCMS Self monitoring log:
Green Z_LYO_OPS_CCMS_OnAlert_Email started
Green Auto-reaction Z_LYO_OPS_CCMS_OnAlert_Email started.Sending office mail from JHHALL to <email address>
Yellow Document <CCMS alerts DEV 20090330 171403> could not be sent
Green Z_LYO_OPS_CCMS_OnAlert_Email successfully completed
SMTP in SCOT is configured for internet mail. If I start the AutoReaction method manually in client 000 I get the same entries as above. However, if I start the AutoReaction method in my main client, client 010, the email is sent as expected.
Anyone have any thoughts as to what the problem may be?
Thanks and regards,
Joe Hall
check if SCOT is correctly configured in 000 client and email id is correctly maintained for the user JHHALL in 000
SCOT is client dependent

Found the problem. The Default Domain was not specified in SCOT in client 000.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Like Samrat mentions, check the configuration in SCOT. If the SAPconnect background job is not running, no messages will go out.
Hope that helps.
