Unable to reading Control file

Dear All,

I have moved OriglogA and B from F-Drive to C-Drive, then i made settings in init<SID>.ora file as per change done, now i am trying starting database, it is giving error message ORA-00205:error oin identifying congrol file, check alert log for more info,

alertlog file having following entries.

ORA-00202:control file : 'C:\ORACLE\<SID>\ORIGLOGB\CNTRL\CNTRL<SID>.DBF'

ORA-27041:unable to open file

OSD-04002:unable to open file

O/S-Error:(OS 2) The system cannot find the file specified.

Please help me, to up the database

Are you see this file are under this directory? If yes then you need to check permissions for this file (or direct on C:\ORACLE\<SID>\ORIGLOGB\CNTRL folder, are the SapserviceSID (or ora_dba) can read and write in folder ?

Thanks for prompt reply, it is having ORA_DBA read/write permisions even though not getting started database.

Can you post your init<SID>.ora and direct path (from browser) there you put your control file.

P.S. SYSTEM can read this files to ?

In origlogA you have file cntlrNWS.dbf and in origlogB cntrlNWS.dbf are the same file on OS level ?

Check lr and rl more clearly.
