Returns payment document

Hi

Returns amt 500,00- for incoming payment smaller than expected amount 1.000,00- USD???How to clear partial return amount.

Kenstar,

Do not think partial Return is possible

However, In FP09 under Specs for docs and processing, select Type of posting as 'New Receivable, If payment cannot be reversed' , click check box Enhanced Returns posting.

Once the entry is posted use FP06.

I am getting this error...

"Difference 10,00- DEM is too large to be cleared" at FP06

You need to maintain Tolerence in

IMG -->FICA --> Basic Functions --> Open Item Management --> Maintain Tolerance Groups.

Maintain High Amount but low %.

I maintaind settings as tolerance limits as 999 and 1%

Is that OK?

The system takes the least of the two <either 999 or 1% which ever is less>. So you need to keep this into consideration
