where to get the evaluation license of system ID NW4

hi,

I have installed successfully the SAP Netweaver 04 Testdrive SR1 (wen application server 6.4). I am searching the evaluated license key at the SAP website.

I checked this one..........

http://www.sap.com/minisap

but here no entry for the SAP system ID "NW4"

pls do let me know from where i will be receiving the same.

Dear Abhishek,

NW4 is no longer supported. Please use N4S instead (this is the NetWeaver 2004s Testdrive).

oha no...........

Earlier i install the NW1 now NW4. I can not go for N4S, as i think this is for 64 bit system or for IBM DB2. I just have 32 bit and SUSE installed.

every thing was ok with installation of NW4, but when i am trying to connect with the SAPGUI, I got the ABAP run time error message rather than the login window. it is like that.........

No, this is not license related.

You have a wrong /etc/hosts file. Please post your /etc/hosts file and then we give you an adivse how to change it. Also, please post output of 'ifconfig' and 'hostname'

The N4S (SAP NW04s Testdrive Linux DB2 x86) is 32bit. So you can chose to have MaxDB with 64bit or DB2 with 32bit.

I'm not familiar with the Testdrive at all, but I know that this information is needed anyway.

ok, between for your information the niping -t command is also giving the same error like.........

verify own hostname (localhost) failed. i don't know why this is going to happen. as every thing seems to be ok in host file.
